There wasn't a fic that STOOD OUT to me this week... but there was definitely a theme: MOVIE FIX-IT! And of course, this pairing had 9249820393493 fics about it! Here are some of my favs:

PAIRING OF THE WEEK: CLINT & PHIL {MARVEL}
FIC PICK: still officially lost by pollyrepeat

“Oh, god,” Phil says, faintly, before he can stop himself.

Why you should read it: I don't read that much gen fic because I usually get into fics for the roller-coaster of emotions and thoughts that a couple brings. But this is exactly that (without the romantic attachments)-- it's clint and phil and clintandphil and this fic feels so canon it hurts. Clint's a total punk and Phil is so Phil. ALL MY FEELS!!!

PAIRING OF THE WEEK: STEVE/female!TONY {MARVEL}
FIC PICK: Wilt Thou Exchange by twentysomething

"The first time Steve meets Toni is about a week after he wakes up."

Why you should read it: There are a lot of genderbent fics when it comes to this pairing (mainly due to the existence of Earth-3490's Natasha Stark) and they're pretty good but this is great. It really is Tony Stark... with female parts... but there's something about this fic that makes this female version of Tony unique. And I love how Steve treats her as an equal instead of being terribly polite. A great fic all around!
